Page 425 of Health Care Bill - Listen to this interview Fred Thompson's Radio Show interviewing Betsy McCaughey (pronounced Mc Coy). Or look it up on www.fredthompsonshow.com, under interviews.
On page 425 it says in black and white that EVERYONE on Social Security, (will include all Senior Citizens and SSI people) will go to MANDATORY counseling every 5 years to learn and to choose from ways to end your suffering (and your life). Health care will be denied based on age. 500 Billion will be cut from Seniors healthcare. The only way for that to happen is to drastically cut health care, the oldest and the sickest will be cut first. Paying for your own care will not be an option.

Good Morning,
It's that time again and we need everyone to go to either the site for Coalition to Protect Senior Care or the NAHCA website and click on Take Action Now . Please go in and voice your opinion on the proposed Medicare cuts in Congress right now. All the support we can get for this is needed now. Ask your co workers, families and residents to also respond using the letters avaiable to you. Stand up and speak out now !! Thanks for all your help !!!!!!!

My favorite thing to do is write articles for papers and magazines on this subject but right now I want to emphasis how important it is for our CNA's to voice there concerns on the health care bill!! I know that most everyone does not really like to talk politics but this bill is full of cuts to Medicare. Cuts that will affect our elderly, their homes and the quality of care they deserve. I have been reading of various nursing homes having to close the doors due to cuts in budgets, etc. This can not continue and the only way it will stop is if people like you and me take up the fight. Please go back to the NAHCA page and take advantage of sending a letter to your congress and senate. It is located on the left side. Help us help the people we love and care for.
